Today on twitter – I put a plea out to help locate an honest lab breeder . As some of you know.. our chocolate labby was given away while he was being taken care of by a previous co-worker of mine. We still can not get to the bottom of what really has happened to him. Was he taken to the Human Society? Did she give him away? She all of a sudden up and moved out of our area – without leaving ANY contact information. At all. Just sickens us.
Bottom line – he’s gone..I gave him to my husband as a gift after Tyler passed away. This dog, as silly as it might seem to some ,was B’s lifeline.. When he couldn’t talk to anyone about his grief – the 2 of them would go on a hike and I know that is what helped heal his heart.
Anyhow – back to my plea on twitter..
A sweet SWEET girliepoo (@PrincessJenn) not only retweeted my post about finding a puppy for B – but she is contacting a breeder she knows..( AND – helped me reach my silly but serious goal I made for myself on how many followers before 2010)
This? THIS is truly what it’s all about..

What a handsome boy he is. It must be heartbreaking to have him gone, especially considering the reasons behind why you originally got him. I hope you’re able to find, not a replacement, but a new lifeline for B.

Talked to my dog’s breeder today.
She said the only lab breeder she really knows is Dee Parsons

She’s located up near me, here in Canada, but you could give her a call and see if she has a recommendation for a breeder in your area.

The other day, as I was trying to ship out a digial photo frame for Anissa Mayhew, I found myself at a mailbox place, because my local UPS was (oddly) closed. The cashier was randomly discussing her son’s preschool teacher with a co-worker, and I happened to overhear. The universe, in all it’s wonder, sent me there so that I could find the special-needs preschool I’ve been searching for, for my daughter.
Today, I tweeted about our lab having puppies. PrincessJenn saw my tweet and sent me this link. And we have 4 chocolate lab puppies, born just yesterday, and if you’d like one, it’s yours. They’ll be ready on Feb. 28th. Email me, and we’ll talk.
